From day one, we have focused on quality, research, and scalability. We are building a standard that sets the direction for the entire industry.
Most importantly, our company operates internationally, closely cooperating with leading Japanese and Taiwanese suppliers of plant-based raw materials, while our solution is fully prepared here locally, in Poland.
In 2023, Dairy Biotechnologies secured funding from the Impera Alfa Fund, including support under the Bridge Alfa programme for a research and development project, which enabled the company to carry out pre-clinical and clinical trials and produce a pilot batch of nutraceutical and probiotic dairy products with an extended shelf life.
The total value of Impera Alfa’s investment was PLN 1,100,000.00.
Thanks to the implementation of this project, a fully developed and innovative solution, milcu®, has been achieved. This is a food additive designed for dairy products as well as vegan milk alternatives, which allows for an extended shelf life (by 100–200% compared to similar products without the additive) and the microbiological stability of dairy products and vegan dairy alternatives (plant-based drinks). At the same time, products containing our additive gain nutraceutical properties as functional foods, a fact supported by numerous studies and scientific publications.
